Celeste Alexander

Rev. Celeste Ann Adams Wells Alexander is married to the Rev. Keith Alexander. She is the daughter of the late Rev. C.O. Adams, Sr., and Mrs. Gladys Myrick Adams. Celeste Alexander’s siblings include Carolyn Adams, Rev. C. Otis Adams, and the late Clover Adams. She was married to the late Rev. Charles E. Wells, Jr.
Rev. Celeste Alexander was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, and educated in the Atlanta Public School System. She retired from the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice as a science teacher. She has a bachelor of science degree, a master of science degree, and an education specialist degree. The colleges and universities attended are Morris Brown College, Georgia State University, Troy State University, and Capella University.
She is a member of Christ Community AMEC, where her brother is the pastor, and she serves as the First Lady of Cobb Bethel AMEC, where her husband is the pastor. She is an Itinerant Elder in the AMEC and has served as Christian education director, Sunday school teacher, worship leader, and pastor. Rev. Alexander is also an author, songwriter, and public speaker.
Memberships include Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Gladys Adams Gospel Ensemble, Women for Morris Brown College, National Science Teachers Association, Georgia Association of Science Teachers, Correctional Peace Officers Foundation, Georgia State Retirees Association, and Bank of America Advisory Panel.
Rev. Alexander loves the Lord with all her heart and soul. She believes God is love, and we should love one another as God has commanded. She constantly communicates with God and believes he is only one prayer away.
